Lotus Group advanced into the local agriculture industry in 2004 under Lotus Plantation with the primary goal of growing a business in oil palm and rubber plantation. Today, Lotus Plantations operates two estates in Sungai Siput, Perak and Bahau, Negeri Sembilan, with a total land bank of 7,000 acres (2,832.8 hectares), focusing on palm oil, vegetables as well as fruits such as durian and bananas.

With acquisitions achieved in recent years, the company believes there is a vast potential for significantly higher yields in the coming years. Continuous efforts are being made to gradually expand its land assets.
